On October 17, the Chair of the RA NA Standing Committee on Science, Education, Culture, Youth and Sport Tigran Urikhanyan met with the Presidents of the higher educational institutions involved in the NGO The Council of the Armenian Universities’ Presidents Accredited by State Boris Makichyan (Northern University), Zaven Sargsyan (Yerevan Mesrop Mashtots University), Artur Aghababyan (Yerevan Movses Khorenatsi University), Liana Azizbekyan (Yerevan Agricultural University), Mileta Khalafyan (Yerevan University of Management) and Sedrak Sedrakyan (Urartu University).

At the meeting they discussed the issues concerning the educational system, especially the distance education, state leave and united examinations. The interlocutors highlighted the item of modernization of the activities of the non state accredited higher educational institutions.
